Enjoy local produce long after the snow falls
Why limit your local produce enjoyment to summer and fall? We’re proud to offer a winter produce share that’s available for pickup biweekly or monthly from November through April. Each share features a hefty helping of winter storage veggies such as squash, onions, garlic, potatoes, beets, carrots, celeriac, radishes, leeks, parsnips, kohlrabi, rutabaga and other vegetables that we may grow. It also includes greens like kale, lettuce, and spinach when the weather allows for harvest from our high tunnels. We purposefully select varieties that store well and retain their flavor, texture, and nutrition well into the early spring until the next season’s offerings are available. When available, we’ll also tuck into your share box a jug of spring maple syrup, a jar of our own garlic powder or a jar of honey from the hives on our farm tended by one of our beekeeping friends.
