Slice cucumbers for salads or sandwiches. Try it in soups or in yogurt.
STORAGE AND HANDLING:
Store in crisper bin of fridge for up to a week. Peeled and cut cucumbers do not maintain high quality so use quickly after cutting or peeling.
NUTRITIONAL DETAILS:
Cucumbers are 95 percent water and contain small amounts of vitamins A, C, and a few minerals. They are surprisingly rich in vitamin E. The cucumber is also an effective skin conditioner.
