Tomatillos

COOKING TIPS:
Remove the husk from the tomatillo and rinse the fruit before using. Tomatillos are usually used in salsa verde, but don’t limit tomatillos to a single dish. Use them in stir fries, chutneys, or eat raw like an apple.

STORAGE AND HANDLING:
Tomatillos can be kept at room temperature for up to 2 weeks. Store tomatillos in the fridge, in husks not in a bag, for 3-4 weeks. Always husk tomatillos before eating.

NUTRITIONAL DETAILS:
Tomatillos contain significant amounts of vitamin A, C and potassium. They also have some vitamin K, folate, phosphorus and magnesium.
