COOKING TIPS:
You can soak broccoli in salted cold water to help remove any pests. Trim off end of stem is tough. Steam, roast or eat fresh.

STORAGE AND HANDLING:
Broccoli keeps best in a plastic bag in the refrigerator. If you are concerned about worms in your broccoli you can soak the florets in salt water to draw out the worms before cooking. The stem or stalk of the broccoli is edible; cut off the tough or woody end and keep the rest for eating.

NUTRITIONAL DETAILS:
Broccoli is loaded with vitamin A. C, calcium, potassium, and iron. Broccoli is also touted as an “anti-cancer” vegetable due to a special enzyme called sulforaphane.
