COOKING TIPS:
Use summer squash for zucchini in recipes. Try marinating in italian dressing and grilling or sautéing. Grate it raw into salads or add to summer soups.

STORAGE AND HANDLING:
Keep summer squash in a plastic bag in the fridge for one week. Since summer squash is mostly water it will dehydrate quickly if not properly stored.

NUTRITIONAL DETAILS:
Summer squash is approximately 94% water, very low calories, and a great source of vitamins A and C, potassium, and calcium. It’s easily digested, nourishing, and cooling, it also replaces lost fluids.
